Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Windrel, operated by Urukai (ABN 77 870 013 249) (“Windrel”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating a Windrel account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact info@windrel.com.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to create a Windrel account. Windrel is intended for children to use under the supervision and account of a parent or guardian — children do not create their own accounts or agree to these terms themselves; the adult account holder does so on their behalf.
Your account
Keep your Google sign-in, and your children’s usernames and PINs, confidential. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Windrel accounts are for personal, non-commercial family use — one account per family.
Free trial and subscription
New accounts start with a free trial (currently 3 days). After the trial, continued access requires a paid monthly subscription, billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout. You can cancel any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee or remedy you’re entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Lesson content and curriculum alignment
Windrel generates lesson content designed to align with syllabus outcomes published by NESA (the NSW Education Standards Authority), for reference purposes. Windrel is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by NESA or the NSW Department of Education. Lesson content is AI-assisted; while we aim for accuracy, it’s provided as a learning supplement rather than a substitute for professional teaching, and we don’t guarantee it is error-free or complete for any particular curriculum requirement.
Acceptable use
- Use Windrel lawfully and only for its intended purpose.
- Don’t attempt to access another family’s account or data.
- Don’t scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Don’t share your account or your children’s login details outside your family, or for commercial purposes.
Intellectual property
Windrel, its branding, and the platform itself are owned by Urukai. You may use generated lesson content for your family’s personal learning use; this doesn’t give you any ownership claim over that content or over Windrel’s platform.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or misuse of the service, and will give notice where reasonably possible.
Disclaimers
Windrel is provided on an “as is” basis. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we don’t guarantee any particular educational outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising from your use of Windrel is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits any liability, or excludes any guarantee, that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll update the “last updated” date above when we do. Continuing to use Windrel after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
